With a goal of summoning spirits from beyond, we three old friends gathered for our bi-monthly seance. As we called forth spirits from the beyond, the candlelight flickered and danced eerily across my friend's faces, distorting their features unnaturally. At times, their true and familiar countenances emerged, only to dissolve into ghastly strangeness once again.
